Winner of the “bass player of the year award” multiple times in a row, victor wooten is amazing. i have never heard anyone slap like this, and he plays his bass like its a guitar. watch for when he tunes his strings mid performance to change keys.

Ortopilot is the youtube king; his covers are all fantastic. This cover of eagle eye cherry’s save tonight is, in my opinion, better than the original.
this is pretty appropriate for our english class.

Matt Andersen is an indie canadian folk artist, hes got serious chops on the guitar, a booming voice, and some crazy hair that he likes to flip around while he plays. heres his cover of wagon wheel.
A rather confident young man walks into a bar and takes a seat next to a very attractive young woman. He gives her a quick glance, then casually looks at his watch for a moment. The woman notices this and asks, “Is your date running late?”
“No,” he replies, “I just bought this state-of-the-art watch and I was testing it.”
Intrigued, the woman says, “A state-of-the-art watch? What’s so special about it?”
“It uses alpha waves to telepathically talk to me,” he explains.
“What’s it telling you now?”
“Well, it says that you’re not wearing any panties…”
The woman giggles and replies, “Well it must be broken then, because I am wearing panties!”
The man exclaims, “Damn—this thing must be an hour fast!”
Funny group of guys, very flight of the concord and jack black esque. an instant classic for all.
